Bonnie has provided me with a fantastic foundation to improve my dancing. She has been able to tailor my routines to show off my strengths, while dramatically improving all parts of my dancing. As my skill level has improved, and Bonnie has slowly prepared me to be able to compete – while still managing to make dancing enjoyable. She had kept my training rigorous, but fun. Bonnie’s attention to detail and ability to work with dancers of all skill levels make her a great instructor.
Taking a lesson with Jamie was a great experience.  His knowledge of the dances made learning from him easy.  He was able to translate what he wanted me to do into an easy, fun format. Jamie was able to break down a complex step into simple fundamentals and then build upon those fundamentals so I could see how the dance steps come together. Jamie’s easy going and charismatic nature makes learning how to dance easier for anyone from the complete beginner to a seasoned veteran.

Our daughter Mia, age 10, has been taking ballroom dancing lessons with Bonnie for over six month. Mia has always loved dancing – ballet, tap, jazz – but since dancing with Bonnie, she has become passionate about ballroom dance. Bonnie has taken Mia from a true novice who didn’t know any of the basic dances, to a confident dancer who can keep up with the adults and feels comfortable dancing 8 different dances, from Swing to Samba to Waltz. Bonnie has helped Mia develop a disciplined perspective on dance training without sacrificing the joy Mia feels about dance. Mia thinks dance lessons with Bonnie are always fun, even when Bonnie is getting her to work hard and focus on her technique. Bonnie is a wonderful coach and mentor to our daughter and a friend to our entire family! We look forward to watching Mia continue to enjoy the benefits of fitness and artistic expression dance provides her, through studying with Bonnie.
